Iran on Saturday criticised the “silence” of the worldwide group within the face of acts of violence within the nation throughout protests sparked by Mahsa Amini’s loss of life in custody.
The Islamic republic has been rocked by protests for the reason that September 16 loss of life of Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian of Kurdish origin, after her arrest for an alleged breach of Iran’s gown guidelines for girls.

On Saturday Iran’s overseas ministry hit out on the “deliberate silence of overseas promoters of chaos and violence in Iran within the face of… terrorist operations in a number of Iranian cities”.

“It’s the responsibility of the worldwide group and worldwide assemblies to sentence the current terrorist acts in Iran and to not present a secure haven for extremists,” it stated in a press release.
