Rep. Dusty Johnson (R-SD) pushed again against ESPN host Jalen Rose’s phone calls to cancel the phrase “Mt. Rushmore.”

Rose experienced recorded a 90-second online video of himself on Twitter speaking about at size his difficulties with the “offensive” time period, applied to replicate the major four greatest in a category. Johnson criticized Rose’s endeavor in a responding tweet.

“I don’t want to dunk on Jalen Rose but canceling Mt. Rushmore is not taking place,” Johnson wrote.

Johnson introduced a bill in 2020 referred to as the Mount Rushmore Protection Act, ensuring “that no Federal funds shall be utilized to change, modify, wipe out, or take away, in full or in element, any title, confront, or other element on the Mount Rushmore Countrywide Memorial.” The lone member from South Dakota has garnered 38 other cosponsors.
