Authorities confirmed the system of a previous Rhode Island mayor was uncovered in her household Monday alongside with one particular other corpse.

The identity of the system was revealed by a spokesman for the Rhode Island Division of Community Well being to Fox News Electronic. The mayor of Woonsocket from 1995 to 2009, Susan Menard, took two days to establish, as police observed the two bodies “severely decomposed.” The identity of the 2nd body is however being investigated. Authorities do not feel foul play was involved in their fatalities, but the investigation is ongoing.
