Parole regarded as for ex-pro skateboarder jailed for 1991 California murder

Mark “Gator” Rogowski confessed to killing Jessica Bergsten, 22, in 1991 at his property in Carlsbad, a seashore city north of San Diego. He defeat her with a car lock, chained her to a bed, raped her, then put her in a surfboard bag and strangled her in advance of burying her in the desert, authorities claimed.

Bergsten was a good friend of Rogowski’s former girlfriend and he mentioned he attacked her out of “misplaced revenge” immediately after he was dumped.

Rogowski pleaded responsible to rape and murder and was sentenced to 31 years in jail. He is becoming held at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego.

Rogowski has said he was remorseful.
