Mariachis serenaded the group with “Cielito Lindo” and other classics, young children achieved law enforcement officers and their remedy pet dog and citizens received acquainted with new neighbors and reacquainted with old types at Tuesday’s National Evening Out at Marijane Hamann Park around the West San Jose and Campbell border.
The occasion, place on by the Hamann Park Community Association, was a person of hundreds in the Bay Area. Normally held on the first Tuesday in August, Countrywide Night Out was produced in 1984 to develop neighborhood and foster great resident-police relationships.
Scores of residents attended the gathering, which showcased visits from Campbell Law enforcement Department officers, music by the Del Mar Substantial School band and a taco feast from Medina’s Catering. The strings and horns of Mi Tierra performed right up until near to sunset, when the 2022 celebration came to a shut.
