A lady was gored and launched 10 feet into the air by a bison at Yellowstone Nationwide Park, park officials said Tuesday.

The attack transpired after the 25-year-outdated woman going to the park from Grove Metropolis, Ohio, bought within just 10 ft of the bison on Memorial Working day. The bison experienced been going for walks close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, north of Previous Faithful geyser, in Wyoming, when the girl approached it. The bison subsequently gored the lady, tossing her into the air. The lady sustained a puncture wound and other accidents and was transported to an Idaho medical center, in accordance to park officials.
