The Wisconsin Department of Justice on Saturday unveiled the identification of the male suspected of killing previous Juneau County Judge John Roemer.

Juneau County Specific Methods and Response Staff discovered 56-year-old Douglas K. Uhde in the basement of the Lisbon, Wisconsin, residence in which Roemer was killed although zip-tied to a chair. Uhde had a self-troubled gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby healthcare facility in crucial problem.

DOJ officers also unveiled that the nameless person who dialed 911 was in the property with Roeme and Uhde but escaped to a close by household to make the connect with.

Authorities attempted to negotiate with Uhde, but Roemer was dead and Uhde experienced shot himself by the time the staff entered the household.

Law enforcement later located a hit record in Uhde’s automobile. The most notable names integrated Senate Minority Chief Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

The state’s Justice Section is now inquiring that any one with info about Uhde need to call it at (608) 266-1221.
