Since arriving in theaters seven months ago, Top Gun: Maverick is set to touch down for streaming just before Christmas.

Paramount+ announced Tuesday that the Top Gun sequel “will be available to stream globally on the service beginning Thursday, Dec. 22 in the U.S., as well as in Canada, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and previously announced markets — the U.K. and Latin America,” according to a statement obtained by the Hollywood Reporter.

The film will also be available to stream in South Korea and France beginning in 2023.

The Top Gun sequel appeared in theaters on May 27 and quickly soared at the box office.

Top Gun: Maverick was the top-grossing film of 2022 and became the fifth top-grossing movie of all time in September. The sequel pushed past 2018’s Black Panther, which now stands at No. 6 in the all-time top-grossing films chart, with nearly $717 million.

The film has also proved to be Tom Cruise’s top-grossing film of all time.

Top Gun: Maverick is also available for video-on-demand viewing.
